Goran’s Street takes place on the day of the Assumption of the Virgin. Little Lana meets a boy from a nearby street who spends his days looking out the window. As they play together, a secret is revealed that will make Lana reconsider her relationship to God, life and herself.

About the director Matija Vukšić

Matija Vukšić (1982 – 2019) was a Croatian journalist, screenwriter and award-winning director. He graduated in journalism from the Faculty of Political Science and documentary film direction at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He worked as a journalist and editor in the Croatian Radiotelevision information section. His documentary films Benjamin, Children of Transition, Iroquois and the short fiction The Cleaning Lady won numerous domestic and international awards.
