Čejen Černić Čanak
Born in Osijek. She holds a degree in Film and TV Directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. She has directed a number of short films, including the short fiction film Followers and short documentaries The Circle, To Me Without Me and Il Postino. Since 2007, she has worked as assistant director on feature films and series, documentaries and animations, and as associate on dance performances. In 2013, she wrote and directed her first short animation, The Girl Who Loved Fairy Tales. In 2017, she directed her first narrative feature, The Mystery of Green Hill, an adaptation of the popular Koko series, for which she earned the best debut award at the Pula Film Festival.
